Independence Realty (IRT) closes merger with Steadfast Apartment.
Independence Realty Trust, Inc. (IRT) said today that it has closed the merger with Steadfast Apartment REIT, Inc., "forming a combined company with an equity market capitalization of approximately $5.6 billion and a total enterprise value of approximately $8.3 billion."
