CoreSite Realty Corporation (COR) announced today the grand opening of its 'VA3' colocation facility, representing the latest expansion to COR's data center campus in Reston, VA.  The new facility brings over 100MW of expected capacity to the site, allowing for continued growth from both private enterprises and governmental agencies.  The company noted that the Reston campus provides clients with strong security, low latency, and a low cost of cloud service utilization.

CoreSite Realty is a mid-cap data center REIT that owns and leases 22 properties in eight markets across the U.S.  Key markets for the company include San Francisco/Silicon Valley (31% of annualized data center rent), Los Angeles (27%) and Northern Virginia (19%).
